Hook Tangaza Appoints Heike Lörcher to Lead EU Expansion.

Hook Tangaza, a leading specialist advisory firm in the legal sector, has appointed Heike Lörcher as Director, joining Nankunda Katangaza and Alison Hook to lead its new Brussels office. This strengthens the firm’s presence in the EU and will expand the client base for its legal regulatory, trade in services and compliance work. It will also enable Hook Tangaza to assist UK clients who wish to understand and influence European Institutions and EU legislation.

Lörcher, who spent 30 years heading the Brussels office of the German Federal Bar, brings a wealth of experience in EU law and policy. She has worked closely with European institutions and regulatory bodies, representing the interests of the legal profession, advising on issues affecting the legal sector, professional regulation, and cross-border policy developments. In her new role, Lörcher will lead Hook Tangaza’s EU-focused work, building on its work on regulatory reform, trade policy, ESG and institutional capacity building. The Brussels office will provide dedicated support for clients engaging with EU institutions, helping them respond to legal and regulatory developments.
