Our Capabilities
Supporting Market Expansion
Supporting Market Expansion
We help law firms and other businesses working in and for the legal sector to identify and enter other markets for growth, whether through greenfield development, merger or acquisition. We have helped law firms of all types, from the UK top 50 through to ambitious niche practices, as well as businesses supporting the legal sector, to think through their international expansion options. At the same time, we have worked with law firms and legal businesses from the US, Australia, Africa and Europe who are contemplating UK market entry.
Building Innovative Ecosystems
Building Innovative Ecosystems
We support organisations in the legal sector who are looking to innovate in their use of technology or data. We help our clients to keep up with evolving standards and best practice and we can provide benchmarking against other jurisdictions and sectors. We have provided market studies in legal technology for the Legal Services Board and Costs Lawyer Standards Board in England and Wales and we have helped organisations in Northern Ireland, Norway and Hong Kong understand and adapt to the growing alternative legal services market.
Creating Platforms for Idea and Best Practice Sharing
Creating Platforms for Idea and Best Practice Sharing
We believe that sharing ideas stimulates creative thinking and we love to bring people together to exchange experience. We have created a global network for legal regulators, the International Conference of Legal Regulators which has been bringing over 30 regulatory bodies together every year for thirteen years to learn from each other. We also set up the Africa Law and Tech Network, a virtual hub for Africa’s tech innovators to interact with policymakers and law firms, and co-created the African Corporate and General Counsel forum (ACGC), the first continent-wide network for in-house and government lawyers.
