The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 critical areas to solve economic, social, and environmental challenges by 2030. The SDGs were preceded by the Millennium Development Goals, adopted in 2001 to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger and primarily targeted at developing nations.  The SDGs include aspirations for more developed countries companies, local governments, civil society, and individual citizens.

We align our work with seven of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs):

Quality Education

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Gender Equality

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.

Decent Work and Economic Growth

Promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all.

Reduced Inequalities

Reduce inequality within and among countries.

Climate Action

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impact.

Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.

Partnerships for the Goals

Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.
