National Apprenticeship Week is coming up and we are proud to share that our Head of Employer and Stakeholder Engagement, Kathryn Jack, will be speaking at a National Apprenticeship Week Parent Information event on February 9th.

Kathryn will be returning to her former college in Bedford, where she did her first apprenticeship at age 16. Kathryn will speak on a panel about her personal experiences and journey as an ex-apprentice during National Apprenticeship Week 2023

Kathryn says, ‘I am delighted to support The Bedford College Group to promote the importance of apprenticeships and how life-changing they can be, especially for young people. The National Apprenticeships Week theme this year is Skills For Life – this connects with Hook Tangaza’s work on higher and further legal education and commitment to align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Goal 4 on Quality Education aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, and this aim is at the heart of our new portal, LawQWE which will will open doors for jobseekers wishing to qualify as legal professionals.’
